Jesus

Jesus Christ (born c. 6–4 BC, Bethlehem, died c. AD 30, Jerusalem). Christianity is one of the world’s largest religions, in which Christians believe Jesus to be the incarnation of God. Jesus’ teachings and deeds are recorded in the New Testament of the Holy Bible.

“A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.” – (John 13:34-35)

“All who draw the sword will die by the sword.” – (Matthew 26:52)

“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” – (Luke 11:9-10)

“As I have loved you, so you should also love one another.” – (John 13:34)

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” – (Matthew 7:7)

“Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.“ – (Matthew 6:1)

“Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” – (Matthew 5:48)

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” – (Matthew 5:9)

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” – (Matthew 5:10)

“Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fishers of men.” – (Matthew 4:19)

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” – (Matthew 6:34)

“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.” – (Matthew 7:12)

“Everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” – (Luke 11:10)

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” – (John 3:16-17)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” – (John 3:16)

“For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” – (Matthew 23:12)

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” – (John 15:13)

“He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.” – (Matthew 12:30)

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” – (Revelation 22:13)

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – (John 14:6)

“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” – (Mark 8:34-38)

“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” – (Matthew 21:22)

“If you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?” – (Matthew 5:47)

“In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.” – (Matthew 7:12)

“In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you… And I will come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am.” – (John 14:2-3)

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – (Acts 20:35b)

“My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.” – (John 18:36)

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” – (John 15:4)

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” – (Matthew 6:34)

“You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else?” – (Matthew 5:43-47 )

“You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” – (Mark 10:42-45)
