Carl Jung

Carl Jung: (1875 – 1961) a Swiss psychiatrist, was an influential thinker and founder of analytical psychology. Jung was the first modern psychologist to propose that the human psyche was by nature religious. He was the most well known pioneer in the field of dream analysis.

Jung placed emphasis on the importance of balance and harmony, cautioning that modern people rely too much on science and logic, and would benefit from integration of spirituality and the appreciation of the unconscious mind. Jung advocated the psychological process of integrating the conscious and unconscious mind, while still maintaining conscious autonomy.
